Who we are

Learnopolis is a learning agency based in Australia.

Our mission is to help businesses solve their problems, meet their goals and achieve their strategies by upskilling their teams.  We do this by providing exceptional online and blended learning programs that empower learners to achieve their full potential.  

We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). 

What we collect

We collect only what we need to provide our services, such as:

  • Contact details: name, role, organisation, email, phone, address. 

  • Work/project information: meeting notes, feedback, design inputs, survey responses. 

  • Billing details: invoices, purchase orders, payment records. 

  • Website interactions: name, role, organisation, email, phone. 

How we collect it 

  • Directly from you (email, calls, meetings, forms, surveys, workshops). 

  • From your organisation’s project lead.

  • Via our website contact forms.

Why we collect it

  • To scope, design, deliver, and support learning solutions. 

  • To communicate with you via project updates, support, invoicing. 

  • To improve our services and website. 

  • To meet legal, tax, and contractual obligations. 

 

We won’t sell your personal information. 

Where it’s stored

We use reputable, security-focused providers.

Core storage is in Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange). Data stored in Microsoft 365 is located in Australia. We also store eLearn data in the Articulate 360 suite (Rise, Storyline, Articulate Review) and other approved tools needed to deliver our services.  

 

Our providers may store data in Australia and/or other locations under their data-residency settings and contractual safeguards. 

Who can access it 

  • Need-to-know access only within Learnopolis (role-based). 

  • Trusted suppliers engaged to help deliver our services (e.g., specialist contractors), bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations. 

  • Clients where information is created for them or supplied by them. 

  • Regulators or law enforcement if required by law. 

Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including MFA, access controls, and regular updates. No method is 100% secure, but we work to reduce risk.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the stated purposes or as required by law, then securely delete or de-identify it.

Your rights

You can request access to, or correction of, your personal information. If you have a concern, contact us first - we’ll respond promptly. If unresolved, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Our materials may link to third-party sites. Their privacy practices are their own.
