Meet the Co-Founders: Jen

Hi everyone, I’m Jen. I started my career in finance in roles spanning financial reporting, management accounting, finance partnering, business process excellence and change leadership. I loved leading big teams across geographically dispersed locations, ensuring that I had the right people with the right skills doing the right work. It was in these big leadership roles that I discovered that I really loved – and was really good at! - skill development and decided after 20 years in finance to make the switch to learning and development.

At Learnopolis, not only do I get to work with the fabulous Nicola Anderson every day, but I am also primarily responsible for the learning experience design and the crafting of content for our eLearning modules, video-based learning and blended learning solutions. My finance background also means that I take a strategic view to our client’s investment in learning, tying learning outcomes to business strategy.

Learnopolis allows me to learn every single day, from experimenting with new tools and technology, to different techniques to embed learning, to ways to make learning even more micro to accommodate increasingly busy work lives.
